Puducherry,Dec 1  : A section of autorickshaw operators in Puducherry struck work to protest against Puducherry goverment's direction to fix meters in hire autorickshaws.
The governemnt had instructed that all hire autorickshaws should fix meters and charge passengers accordingly, giving them a one month deadline to do so.However, only a section of the autorickshaw operators complied with the order.
